GUTSY Films

Our creative film work ranges from animation to high end commercials and documentary films.

This is independent filmmaking for the digital age. We work with agencies on brand-curated content such the Energy Futures film for Shell and bespoke insight projects for clients including Mercedes Benz and American Express.

Mercedes-Benz - "Full Circuit"

Full Circuit is a feature length documentary that describes the historical relationship between Brooklands & Mercedes-Benz. It includes rare archive footage plus interviews with Sir Stirling Moss, Jodie Kidd, Ron Dennis, Sir Terence Conran, historians and current innovators. The film uncovers stories that establish Mercedes Benz as crucial to the creation of Brooklands and a major influence on the British automotive industry.

It is a journey through the process of invention, connecting such rare anomalies as the 'Teardrop Benz' to Malcolm Campbell's land speed record-breaking 'Bluebird'. How Brooklands influenced Concorde, and Concorde influenced McLaren brake technology. How 'Gordon Bennett' was an early media mogul who kickstarted car racing and the story of the real Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The film is available on DVD for retail at the Mercedes-Benz brand store. Here is an extract from the film, the curious tale of Count Louis Zborowski.
